The American Red Cross continues offering assistance to residents of Hallandale Beach, Hollywood and Pembroke Park who continue to be affected by last week’s flooding.

Residents of those three cities, which were hardest hit by the torrential rains, should call the American Red Cross Disaster Relief hotline in Broward County, 954-797-3829, for further assistance.

Depending on the needs of these residents, the American Red Cross Broward County Chapter is prepared to offer shelter, food and clothing.

As of December 22, the American Red Cross has offered assistance to 80 people who have been affected by this disaster.

You can help people affected by disasters such as today’s floods by donating to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. On those rare occasions when donations exceed Red Cross expenses for a specific disaster, contributions are used to prepare for and serve victims of other disasters.

Your contributions can be made online by clicking here or by phone, 954-797-3800, or 305-644-1200.
